I'm a big believer that photos shouldn't only be taken on rare occasions.
This is a completely random photo of me with my mom that means the world to me! She passed away when I was 14 - and the years that followed led me to preserve and cherish as many small, fabulous, perfect moments as I can.
One of the things I'm most proud of is how many people tell me that they feel safe expressing themselves in front of my camera - because I know how nervous they were when we first spoke!

Krystal was charming, lovely, and most importantly authentic. She was great at coaching me on how to pose for the best results, and was AMAZING with my son (who struggles tremendously to take pictures). She was incredibly patient, kind, and fun. When I look at the pictures I feel so much joy and gratitude that we did this photoshoot!
I am recently widowed and I wanted to get pictures of me and my son that he can cherish with his remaining parent. It was a very emotional experience for me.
